What is TUNE-UP & What's included in it?

A car tune-up is a type of ESSENTIAL, PREVENTIVE, SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE, to ensure the vehicle Performance and Extend its life

 

There are 2 Major aspects of the Tune-Up:

 

Tune-Up Checks and Repair/ Replace/ Adjust/ Add as needed:

• Battery voltage and Charging voltage.

• Power balance or dynamic compression.

• Engine vacuum.

• Scan for Fault codes.

• Check Exhaust emissions.

• Verify Idle speed / Idle Mixture.

• Check Ignition timing, Operation of the EGR valve.

•  Visually inspection of Hoses and Belts.

• All fluids: Oil, Coolant, Automatic transmission fluid, Power steering fluid and Brake fluid.

What to Replace:

​

• Spark plugs.

• Rotor and/or distributor cap - if required.

• Fuel filter; Air filter; PCV valve and Breather filter.
