How do you know WHEN YOUR BRAKES are BAD?

Your vehicle's Brakes SHOULD ALWAYS be in Top working condition!!

​

​Here are Common Warning Signs of Brakes Problems:

​

​

  • BRAKE LIGHT ON

​

         hen the Brake Light is ON, it might be that the Brakes just due for an inspection, or It could be alerting for problem with the Brakes system.

​

 

  • SQUEALING, SQUEALING, SCREECHING NOISES – While the car in Motion.

​

        This sound is caused by a small, metallic shim indicator that’s embedded in your brake pad just for this purpose. (if the sound disappears after the first few times that you use your brakes, that’s a good indicator that it was just a bit of rust built up on the brake pad and not that the brake pad needs to be replaced).

​

 

  • DEEP METALLIC GRINDING AND GROWLING – When Brakes are Applied.​

​

  • Is commonly a sign, that the brake pads worn away, and that the Brake Discs and Calipers are touching.

​

  • At times it can be a gravel that caught in the Brake’s Caliper.

​

​

  • WOBBLING, VIBRATIONS, or SCRAPING – When Braking.

​

         May be the result of an uneven Rotors.

​

 

  • LESS THAN A 1/4 INCH OF BRAKE PAD

​

        The Brake Pad compressed against the Brake Rotor and can be looked through the tire spokes.

 

  • REDUCED RESPONSIVENESS OR FADING

​

        When the Brakes are not as responsive as they should be or if the pedal "sinks".

​

​​

  • PULLING

        If the vehicle "pulls" to one side while braking, it may be a sign that the brake linings are wearing unevenly or that there is foreign matter in the brake fluid.
